Escape from Terror: The Power of Interfaith Relations

Escape from Terror: The Power of Interfaith Relations

Join us to hear this harrowing, but inspiring story!

Mohammad Al-Samawi, a young peace activist, came to the United States after escaping from Al-Qaeda and the civil war in Yemen. He was raised to hate Jews until he studied the Bible. He has since become a champion of Muslim-Jewish dialogue. After Mohammad was threatened for his peace activism and forced into hiding in Yemen, four Americans helped him escape. Justin Hefter was one of the young men who aided in his escape. Mohammad now has a memoir deal with Harper Collins and Fox 2000 has picked it up for a movie adaptation.
